As I research the definition of a pearl a few words stood out to me...
Beauty, living, rare, admirable, hard, soft, fine, wild, natural, "queen of gems"
No wonder I feel so glamorous in pearls! The pearl itself has so much to offer. I say to make any woman feel beautiful, fabulous, and classic throw on some pearls. You can dazzle any outfit up without having to spend a fortune. The pearls may not be real, but so what who cares!
Aside from feeling AMAZING in pearls they also represent to me the different crevices that life has to offer a woman. It makes me think of one of my favorite sayings, "Stop and smell the roses." The pearls are the milestones, moments, memories, snapshots, joys, and celebrations of our lives. Those pearls represent the many blessings and pleasures that make our lives worth living for. They are what we are presently doing and dreaming about in our lives. What I am coming to realize is that each pearl in our life is precious and we have to make sure to collect and savior each pearl as it comes into our life. I like to think we are all wearing our pearls as a showcase of the individual inside. So what are your pearls and are you collecting them regularly or passing them by?
My hope in this blog is to share with you the pearls in my life that I have or have yet to discover with a glamorous twist. And if I can inspire one lovely soul to enhance their pearl collection, well then that will be just fabulous!
